We are very happy to announce that the iconic Glenorchy Lagoon Walkway has won the TRIPADVISOR CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE 2015 - a prestigious travellers award recognising the quality of a service or business that can only be earned through consistently great reviews. WW trip A

As a community we are very proud of this award especially because of the extended north loop of the walkway was one of the main projects to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the European Settlement at the Head of the Lake in 2012.

Many of us were involved fundraising and planning, and a good number physically involved hands on during the construction phase.

Today the entire walkway is a popular short walk for locals as well as for thousands of visitors from around the world.
