Following a very gratifying weeding session in December, where, with the help of community members, we removed a lot of broom and also used a scrub cutter to facilitate access to some of the fruit trees, Sustainable Glenorchy would like to invite you to join us for two hours for more clearing. This small council park about 4km along the road from Glenorchy to the Routeburn, has lovely views and many heritage apple trees with fruit just ripening for you to enjoy. Please come along with gloves and whatever tools you have that you think might be useful, to clear blackberry, broom, or just come to enjoy working together for the community.
