Weeding Puahiri Park 22 December with Sustainable Glenorchy

Puahiri Park is located on the left hand side of the road just past a stand of poplars 3-4km from Glenorchy on the Glenorchy-Routeburn Road. Years ago, pear trees and several heritage apple trees were planted there and the produce is available to the public but rather hard to get at because of the long grass and blackberry. 

Sustainable Glenorchy will be there from 9-11am this coming Sunday 22 December and would love to have you join us in this community effort. Please bring gloves, hi-vis clothing if you have it, and any tools you find useful for weeding. See you there!
