Notice of GCA Special Meeting to adopt new Constitution

The GCA will hold a Special Meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday 3rd October to vote on a motion to adopt a new constitution.

The constitution is required to be updated because of changes to the Incorporated Societies Act and the draft includes the changes that we are required to make.

We have taken the opportunity to include charitable purposes for the GCA. If these are approved it will open up funding sources that we currently can’t access.

The membership requirements are proposed to be changed in that once individuals have joined the GCA, they remain a member until they decide they no longer wish to be. There will be no charge for membership.
