Three Lakes Cultural Trust understands that securing funding can be one of the biggest challenges for your creative or cultural practice, project, event or organisation. That’s why we’ve partnered with huddl, Sports Otago, Conservation Alliance, and Queenstown Lakes District Council to bring you The Funding Series—a free series of workshops designed to strengthen your funding know-how and set you up for long-term success.

The Funding Series is a direct result following the extensive community consultation undertaken in the development of the community-led Te Muka Toi, Te Muka Tākata | The Creativity, Culture, and Heritage Strategy for the Queenstown Lakes District. Throughout the consultation, a recurring theme was navigating funding and fundraising. Therefore The Funding Series has been designed in response to that need, with the objective of enhancing the creative, cultural and heritage sector’s capability and capacity to support achieving sustainable funding and fundraising. 

By collaborating with other community groups, workshops are open to a range of community interests supporting collaboration and networking.
