Come join your neighbours at The Village Green

on February the 22nd at 4pm to celebrate our newly designated forever-dark skies above and the vibrant ‘nature’ of life here at the head of the lake.

So much new goodness to celebrate in our wee village!

· Tāhuna Glenorchy Dark Sky Sanctuary

· Opening of the GY Museum Exhibition Site on the Village Green

· First Takahē release up the Rees Valley

· GY Trails Trust extension of the walking/cycle trail from GY to Mt Judah/Whakaari Conservation Area

· Kōwhai Valley Crèche

Please bring a plate of food to share at the long-lunch-style meal, as well as your own beverages.
