It's time to do some spring cleaning!

This time around spring came much earlier than anyone would expect so let's take advantage of it and get rid of the CLOTHES you no longer need, and make room for fresh energy.

A CLOTHES SWAP is an event where people gather (and invite friends) to exchange used clothing to promote sustainable consumption. By borrowing and lending, one can acquire additional clothing without incurring additional costs.

As the saying goes: "One man's trash is another man's treasure".

I've taken this proverb to an extreme and for more than three years I haven’t bought a single piece of clothing: not pants or jackets, no t-shirts or hats, not even running shoes. This was possible thanks to the helping hands of people in the community who had things they didn't want anymore, and were willing to let them go. We have so much stuff, that if we only share resources we wouldn't need a new pair of anything for a very long time.

This “gathering” is an opportunity to share, exchange and/or recycle CLOTHES within our community.

So gather up the clean CLOTHES you don't need anymore, take them to the Glenorchy Hall on 01/10/2023, and exchange them for something that might be just a right fit for you.

FREE ENTRY

 Another great excuse to get together, and have a good time while gathering fresh spring energy, community spirit, and CLOTHES.

There will be live music, some food, local produce, and sweets to buy.

The event will be open from 12 noon until 4:00pm (maybe longer if it's pumping ????)
