COSI
Sep 10, 2020 - Sep 19, 2020
COSI written by Louis Nowra and directed by Blaise Barham.
An uplifting riotous hit comedy about madness, art, love and life!
It’s 1971 Australia and outside the world is caught in a time of social change; the streets buzzing with politics, social reform and anti-Vietnam war protest. Meanwhile, inside a Melbourne psychiatric facility, a cast of patients find themselves part of a ‘therapeutic project’ which soon spirals them into preparing a performance of Mozart’s famous comic opera, Cosi Fan Tutte, although no one can act, sing or speak Italian.
Cosi reminds us that whatever problems we may have that with community, connection and love we can achieve amazing things.
This is a must-see. It will definitely make you laugh, and a lot more!
