Glenorchy Sewerage Scheme Progress Update

QLDC had been working toward submitting an agenda item to council this month with regards to advising on the current status and next steps for the proposed Glenorchy Sewerage Scheme. Based on feedback received from the community, on the update issued in April, and some additional information requested from Councillors the decision has been made to delay submission of this paper until June.

This will allow the QLDC Infrastructure team to further review the paper and include information and direction on the items raised by Councillors. It is the intention of QLDC to arrange a time to meet with the community, to update and inform them on the project prior to this paper being submitted to council.

QLDC will advise the date of this meeting as early as possible in order to maximise awareness and notification to residents who wish to attend. A summary will be issued to any owners who are unable to attend the meeting.
